Tammy P. Shearer joined the firm in 2013 as a Principal after having been a partner in her own Houma CPA firm.
With more than 20 years of public accounting experience in tax planning and preparation for businesses and individuals, she provides advisory services for a varied client base that includes construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, retail, professional service providers and nonprofit clients. Graduating with honors, she received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler.
Tammy is a member of the Society of Louisiana CPAs and is Chair of its Ethics Committee. Her service also includes membership on its State and Local Taxation, Litigation Services and Louisiana Tax Conference committees. She is a past chapter president and officer of the South Central Chapter. She is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
Past president of the Junior Auxiliary of Houma and the Kiwanis Club of Houma, Tammy is a graduate and former board member of Leadership Terrebonne.
