Leslie A. George, CPA, CGMA is an Audit Member. Her specialized experience is in auditing for non-profit industries, governmental entities, law firms and museums.
Leslie began her career in a Big 4 accounting firm and joined Bourgeois Bennett in 2008. She received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of New Orleans. She was a member of the accounting honor society Beta Alpha Psi and continues to participate in their recruiting events.
She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Society of Louisiana CPAs. Leslie has a COSO Internal Control Certification and specializes in internal controls. She is a graduate of the Leadership Jefferson class of 2019 and the Emerging Leaders Academy. Leslie also serves on the Louisiana Accounting and Auditing Conference Committee and the Women's Initiatives Committee for the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
