Ellen Yellin, CPA joined the Firm with national accounting firm experience and an MBA from Tulane University. A Tennessee native, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Political Science at Newcomb College.
As a Tax and Employee Benefits Director, Ellen specializes in working with clients from the retail and wholesale industries and medical and legal professions. She advises clients on tax, retirement planning and employee benefit planning.
Extremely active in the community, she is a founder and first president of the Women's Professional Council. She serves on the Touro Infirmary Foundation board and on the board of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans and the Cornerstone Council of the Greater New Orleans Foundation. Ellen is also Treasurer of CourtWatch NOLA. In 2004 and 2009, she was named a CityBusiness Woman of the Year. Within the business community, she is active in the Association of Employee Benefits Planners, the New Orleans Estate Planning Council, the Society of Louisiana CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
