Ed Bouterie is Director in Charge of the Houma and Thibodaux offices. With previous public accounting experience in national and local firms, he joined the Firm as a result of a merger in 1981.
His expertise includes tax return preparation for individuals and businesses and he provides accounting, auditing and clients advisory services for a broad spectrum of clients that include oilfield service companies, governmental entities, construction companies, retailers and medical, legal and non-profit organizations.
A Nicholls State University graduate, Ed was certified in 1974. He is active with the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, a past President of its South Central Chapter and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. He is a member of the Board and Fund Distribution Committee of the United Way for South Louisiana and a Past President and Past Campaign Chairman. He is a member, Past Chairman and Treasurer of the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Nicholls State University Department of Accounting and Business Law Advisory Board, Houma Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce and Rotary International. He also sits on the boards of the South Central Industrial Association and Thibodaux Rotary Club.
